Intended for children who display noncompliant, defiant, oppositional, stubborn, or socially hostile behaviours. Success has also been seen in children who have designations of ADHD, ODD, CD, ASD .
The goals of this program are
To improve the management skills in parents and caregivers in dealing with child oppositional or aggressive behaviours.
To Increase parental knowledge of the sources, contributing factors, and triggers that lead to childhood defiant behaviour.
To improve child compliance with directives, and rules given by the parent/caregiver which leads to fewer and less extreme parent/caregiver-child conflicts.
Through the improvement of child behaviour comes progress in the reduction of family stress, the production of family harmony, healthy relationships and proper communication.
